🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃
At the end of September I found out that one of the pumpkin patches in the O.C. area - Tanaka Farms - was having a special Sanrio themed pumpkin patch. Growing up a stereotypical Asian who was obsessed with all things Sanrio, I knew I had to visit. This was the first time that I have gone to a pumpkin patch since I was a child and I was stoked.

Unfortunately, the day I decided to go was maybe not the best. First of all I went on a Sunday so it was packed with people trying to get early pickings at the pumpkins. Secondly, it was one of the hottest weekends of October - roughly in the high 90's to low 100's - not necessarily ideal weather conditions when you're going to be outdoors with hardly any covering. Sadly due to all the heat - both the weather and all the bodies - I didn't end up staying long to really look at everything the patch had to offer. I scoured for the perfect pumpkin, or two, and was on my way.
Thanks to my friend* I was able to snag some pictures as well. So in the end I guess it was a win-win. Cute pumpkin: check. Some photos to remember the day: check. A new outfit: check.
Now I know for next year what to do and what not to do. Go on a day predicted to be cooler weather, drink lots of water in advance, and bring a hat to cover myself from the sun.
